What is the "Let Freedom Ring" Wreath?
The "Let Freedom Ring" Wreath was especially designed by Morrill Worcester, the President of Worcester Wreath and is only available here. It is 24" in diameter, and made with 4 pounds of freshly picked Maine Balsam. It is handmade, and has a festive red bow, reindeer moss, pine cones, 3 bells and 2 small American Flags. Your wreath is made and shipped to you fresh via either FedEx or UPS within 24-48 hours after your order is placed.
How can I get involved with Wreath’s Across America?
We hope you will be able to join us at Arlington National Cemetery, or any of the OVER 350+ participating locations across the Country on December 12, 2009.
For those not able to attend, please pass the word that there will be a Moment of Silence at Noon EST, where people all across the Nation will stop and share a silent thank you, to all those who serve, to all we've lost, and to their families who will be without loved ones this holidays. Is the cemetery in my local area going to host a wreath-laying ceremony?
In total, there are over 350 State and National veterans cemeteries, and veterans monuments across the country. Our goal is to do as much as we can, at all locations in 2009 - but we need help from volunteers in each local area. Please go to www.wreathsacrossamerica.org to help.
Can I purchase a Remembrance Wreath for my loved one's grave?
At this time, Patriots Wreath is not able to accommodate remembrance wreaths to be shipped directly to you or others. You can however order a “Let Freedom Ring” Wreath and place that yourself.
Regarding wreath placement
Prior to the wreath-laying ceremonies, cemetery administrative personnel give participants specific instructions regarding placement of wreaths. In most state/national cemeteries, participants are instructed to place wreaths only on graves bearing the Christian cross or nondenominational graves.
Both the Arlington Wreath Project and Wreaths Across America profess no political or religious agenda - but rather wish to remember and honor our veterans during the holidays - a time of traditional family gatherings - and teach our children that we are able to do so, in peace, because of the many sacrifices made by our military men and women.
